The Wedding Day
-
Bring your best beach formal + island chic + cultural wear!
The wedding venue will be hosted at Honolulu's Bishop Museum, Hawaii's largest museum dedicated to studying and preserving the history of Hawaii and the Pacific. The ceremony and reception will both be held outdoors.
A dress, suit, or jumpsuit all work for a beach formal and island chic wedding. You can opt for solid, lighter colors, prints and breathable fabrics. Tea-length or maxi dresses and jumpsuits are acceptable for beach formal attire. The celebrations will take place on grassy landscape so chunky heels, dressy sandals, flats, and wedges are suggested footwear options.
A suit, a long-sleeved shirt and tie with a jacket, or Hawaiian shirt and slacks are great options as well. For a summer suit, consider breathable fabrics such as linen, khaki, or seersucker with solid, lighter colors. Dress shoes, loafer or deck shoes that compliment the slacks are also recommended. Please no shorts and sandals.
We also welcome all cultural attire our guests would feel proud and comfortable to wear.
